The spirit of the five directions of heaven and earth was taken, and the copper coins were engraved with a round outer shape and a square inner shape, which was in line with the "round sky and square earth" doctrine. They were then connected with red ropes and decorated with silver beads to make a magical tool called the "Qiankun Chain" to ward off evil spirits. This chain was later enshrined in a Taoist temple and has been infiltrated with incense for a hundred years. It is said that the wearer can borrow the spirit of the emperor's prosperous times and the power of the three talents of heaven, earth and man to protect himself.

The outer circle of the copper coin symbolizes the tolerance of the sky, the inner square represents the stability of the earth, and the emperor's reign in the middle echoes the essence of "man". The combination of the three constitutes the balance of "heaven, earth, and man", implying that the wearer lives in harmony with nature and has a smooth fortune. Copper belongs to gold, red rope belongs to fire, and silver beads belong to water, which is in line with the five elements of "gold produces water, fire refines gold" and forms a dynamic energy field to help the wearer harmonize qi and blood and gather wealth.
