In Longhu Valley, there is a hermit who cuts bamboo to make instruments. He takes bamboo joints that have not yet dried in the morning dew, dyes their shapes with ink, and dots their rhythm with silver. Every time he makes a string, he must first calm his mind for three days before he carves the eight trigrams with a knife. He said: "Bamboo is a gentleman, silver is a galaxy, and Tai Chi is in the middle, which is the unity of heaven, earth and man. " Later, his disciples brought this Taoist instrument into the world, inherited the magic of Taixu, and transformed Yin and Yang into ornaments.
In Taoist culture, the black and white Tai Chi symbolizes the harmony of yin and yang, and the bamboo-joint shape represents tenacity and purity. It is often made into a magical instrument to be worn. It can purify the magnetic field around the body, dissolve negative energy, stabilize the mind, and enhance spiritual wisdom. It is a spiritual object that is carried by Taoist practitioners and those who pursue harmony between body and mind.
