Baopuzi

Ge Hong, also known by his courtesy name Zhichuan and his pseudonym Baopuzi, was honored as "Ge Xianweng". He was a famous medical scientist, pharmaceutical chemist and Taoist figure in the Jin Dynasty. The outer chapters of Baopuzi mainly describe Ge Hong's life, while the inner chapters are his explanation of Taoist thoughts and Dandao cultivation methods.
